CEO and Founder
Indigo Education
Sheri Smith is the founder and CEO of the Indigo Project. As an intern at the State Department for Vital Voices, an initiative started by Hillary Clinton, Sheri recognized her passion for helping people find their voice and inspiring them to catalyze change in the world. Using the power of assessment technology for hiring and coaching, Sheri saw the benefits of clients working in their zone of genius and the pain of being in a role that wasn’t a good fit. As a result, she founded The Indigo Project in 2013 with the vision of ushering in an education revolution that shifts the system away from standardization to a system that empowers and trains students to ultimately find work they love.
We all know that schools in the U.S. are in desperate need of reform. The first step to meaningful change in any organization is to recognize the problems at hand and understand what can and cannot be fixed. This session will show how TTI SI assessment data can be used to identify school culture and set the stage for major shifts in interactions between students, teachers, administrators and even parents. You will learn how schools are transforming with this process. Additionally, you find out why a similar data collection and analysis process should be used in organizations for which you are involved.
